ANDY PROCOPIO

Andy Procopio established AMP Training Center in November, 2013.  After 6 years of strength and conditioning experience in various settings, and interaction with athletes of all sports/skill levels, he knew it was time to share that experience in a new way.

Upon graduation from the University of Rhode Island in 2007, Andy became an assistant strength and conditioning coach, working with all of their varsity athletic teams.  Following 2 years of coaching at URI, and another 2 years working in the health club industry, Andy entered graduate school at URI where he taught as a graduate assistant in the Kinesiology program completing a Master’s degree in exercise science.  During that time Andy researched the effects of resistance training on adolescent athletes.

Andy’s passion for coaching is evident in the way that he oversees, empowers, and challenges both staff and clientele at AMP Training Center.  Movement and strength drive every training session, whether one on one or group lead.  Expectations are high while maintaining a fun, loose environment.  Everyone comes here to get better at something, and as leaders in the field, that begins with the energy and attentiveness Andy and his coaching staff bring to each session.

TYLER BRENNAN

Tyler comes to AMP with a big personality. After graduating from Bishop Hendricken High School, where he played varsity baseball and hockey, Tyler took his talents to URI to major in Kinesiology and continue his baseball career at the Division I level.

He has been exposed to extensive strength and conditioning knowledge and practice through workouts as an athlete, major specific studies, and working in the field with clientele.  As a passionate professional, Tyler does whatever it takes to help you achieve your fitness goals and maximize your potential as a competitior and in every day life.

Tyler will be a constant aid and provide the platform from which you build off of.  The rest however starts and ends with the effort you bring when you walk through the doors.

CHLOE CRANE

Chloe comes to us with an energitic desire to learn as well as impact. A recent graduate of URI specializing in exercise science, Chloe joined the amp family as the Training center's first intern.  Over the course of her final undergraduate semester, Chloe was able to experience first hand how to assess clientel, prescribe exercise, and rationalize programming, dealing with clients of all ages..

Chloes passion to coach is a result of her experiences as an athlete and performer.  With her love for children in conjunction with her background in dance, and  her skill set gained through her undergraduate and intership work, chloe was able to find and harness a deeper understanding of exercise and more importantly an answer to why we do what we do.

At AMP TC we strive to be and remain the very best at our skill..  With that said Chloe's capacity for success is absolute and immesurable.  With a fearless approach, look for Chloe to immerge as one of the most dominant/influential female strengh coaches/trainers in the area.
